The Pajama Game is a classic musical comedy with music and lyrics are by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross; that first premiered on Broadway in1954, winning several Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Set in a 1950s American pajama factory, the musical centres around a dispute for a workers 7½ cent pay rise that throws Sid, the new factory superintendent and Babe, the feisty head of the Union Grievance Committee together and despite their fight they become drawn to each other romantically.
